At Kimber Hills Academy, we not only strive to build academically excellent students, but students who can stand apart from others in character amidst a current culture of self-centeredness and entitlement. This is not a natural tendency for it is contrary to human nature.
For the month of November – a month that also reminds us to reflect our gratitude and thanksgiving for what God has given us, our students are responding to a school-wide challenge. Their challenge is to obey God’s word by living it out through actions and deeds. Our school verse this year is specific to this challenge and it states:
Build each other up, encourage one another, strive to do what is good for each other, Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5, 11, 15-18
Our students are catching the excitement as they will be trying to live out the attitude of “U B4 Me.” If they are “caught” living out a spirit of encouragement, kindness, helpfulness, etc., they will be recognized by the entire student body. May you also catch the spirit of “U B4 Me” just like we are doing here at Kimber Hills Academy!
