Kimber Hills Academy has maintained a rich legacy and heritage of seeking the guidance of the Lord Jesus Christ in how to best equip and nurture our students to become all that God created them to be. We are dedicated to academic excellence and quality instruction while recognizing the God-given uniqueness of each child. We are committed to developing partnerships with parents, and nurturing each child spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally and physically.
For the past 33 years, Kimber Hills Academy has played an integral role in laying a strong foundation for our students. Not only do many of our students perform well academically in public or private institutions after leaving, but they demonstrate a transformation of spirit and character that takes them beyond the classroom and builds into the true essence of their person.
As the Principal of Kimber Hills Academy and as a parent of three alumni who excelled in their preschool – 8th grade experience, I am proud that my children, now young men, have promising futures before them. As I look back, I can now reflect on what I believe to be important pieces in defining these wonderful men as people and in setting them apart in mind, character, body, soul, and spirit. I believe that critical pieces were their experiences here at our school and with the people around them who faithfully invested in their lives and believed in their God-given potential.
Sometimes it takes time to reap the fruit of an investment. I am excited to see this in the lives of two of our Kimber Hills alumni and their work in a video entered in the 2013 Azusa Pacific University Cinematic Arts Scholarship Competition. The video is titled “Handiwork” and can be logged on at:
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10.
