The Evening of the Arts is an incredible event where our multi-talented and creative students are showcased in presentations, performances and hands-on activities. From Kandinsky and Les Miserables to Skip to My Lou, Polynesian Hula, and the Chicken Dance, the whole evening was truly a celebration of our students’ creative talents in the Arts. Our Concert and Advanced Band played so beautifully under the direction of Mr. Tony Bolivar that we felt like ballroom dancing to one song and then free style dancing to another! “The Bible” presented through movement, music, and song by our 4th and 5th graders was inspirational. There were published student books on display to read, a Middle School Film Festival running continuously, and hands-on activities with opportunities to paint circles like the artist, Kandinsky, create mosaics and collages, discover the masters, wet chalk drawing, ink blot printing, and weaving. This event was truly a night to remember where we celebrated all our shining stars and demonstrated how God has uniquely gifted them!
